Nine polling centres with 30 channels opened at 8am today for the poll that was called to elect a new representative in the Pahang state legislative assembly following the August 17 death of its incumbent Datuk Seri Johari Harun from Barisan Nasional .The Meteorological Department forecasted clear skies in Pelangai in the morning and thunderstorms in one or two places in the evening today during the current southwest monsoon season.
