MPKj sealed six business premises run by foreign workers in an enforcement operation yesterday.

The council has identified 150 business premises that are suspected to be operated by foreign workers.

“We will also cooperate with other agencies like Immigration Department that can take action against those working illegally. He added that for now, MPKj would focus on carrying out enforcement against retail businesses and then move on to food, furniture and industrial premises. State entrepreneur development committee chairman Rodziah Ismail said Selangor passed the legislation prohibiting foreigners from owning business licences, running temporary businesses or being employed by such businesses.
