PUTRAJAYA: The signing of the"Kuala Lumpur Declaration: A Joint Committment by the Civil Service " will be a key part of the Madani government's second anniversary and the 2024 National Public Service Reform Convention, says Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar .
"I, along with all 14 State Secretaries, will sign the document as a testament to the commitment of civil servants at all levels of the federal and state services to ensure efficient, transparent and effective public service delivery," Shamsul Azri said in conjunction with the 100th day of his appointment as the 16th Chief Secretary on Nov 19.
"This programme not only celebrates the two-year milestone of the Madani government but also serves as a platform to continue fostering unity among civil servants in realising the government’s vision," he explained. "Public service plays a crucial role in advancing every government agenda to achieve the nation’s vision," he said, emphasising that improvements in public service delivery significantly impact the quality of life and national development.
