PETALING JAYA: Civil servants in Grade 56 and below will receive a special financial assistance, amounting to RM450 each for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, says the Prime Minister's Department."A special financial assistance of RM225 will also be enjoyed by almost 800,000 retired civil servants as an appreciation for their services and contribution.A total of RM855mil has been allocated for the special financial assistance for civil servants and retirees.
Earlier, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that the government will be giving out bonus, in conjunction with Hari Raya to civil servants.
