An update to be presented Wednesday to council’s governance and priorities committee now calls for a decision on a funding strategy in January or February 2024, followed by a vote on a conceptual design for the DEED in April or May.
Under the revised DEED decision timeline now proposed by city planners, the next item to come to council will be a report in either September or October this year on revenue tools to be included in the funding strategy for the project.
