He began the brewery in 2012 after moving back to Tumut from Canberra and realising his childhood home, known for forestry and agriculture, had potential as a tourism destination. to help the region recover from the bushfires, said even he had struggled to work out how to get into the brewery.“It is the classic, great, small-country-town, interesting hospitality business and it has just been slaughtered by roadworks and no one seems to care.”
