La policía estatal de Maine, en Estados Unidos, identificó este miércoles al principal sospechoso de una serie de tiroteos que han dejado al menos 22 muertos en la ciudad de Lewiston como Robert Card, de 40 años de edad.
El sospechoso continúa a la fuga y debe ser considerado 'armado y peligroso', según un comunicado en redes sociales de la policía de Lewiston. Según la CNN figura como militar en la reserva en el estado de Maine, y según destacó ABC es un instructor de armas de fuego con un historial de problemas de salud mental.
El medio, que cita a fuentes policiales, dijo que el hombre pasó dos semanas este verano en un centro de salud mental tras amenazar con llevar a cabo un tiroteo en una base de la Guardia Nacional. Las autoridades publicaron también una fotografía de su vehículo, un coche blanco, que según el medio local Lewiston Sun Journal ha sido ubicado cerca de la localidad de Lisbon, en Maine.
