CICC launches 24/7 chatbot assistant for cybercrimes, SIM registration, others

The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center said it has launched a chatbot assistant to help process different types of complaints, including cybercrimes. | JMangaluzINQ

The CICC, which is an attached agency of the Department of Information and Communications Technology , said that the chatbot is called CYRI.

“Through CYRI, we can immediately get complaints and concerns related to cybercrimes, data privacy and SIM registration…our agents on duty can immediately advise or act on a complaint 24/7,” said CICC Executive Director Alexander K. Ramos in a statement.
