The Ireland legend agonisingly missed out on yet another World Cup after sustaining an injury against Samoa in their warm-up game that has left him sidelined for the foreseeable. But the ever-resilient Healy has taken to social media to share an update and looks well on his way to a full recovery. Ireland have a week break before their crunch tie against Scotland on 7 October. A win will see Ireland most likely play New Zealand in the quarter-finals while a loss could see them dumped out of the tournament.
