A new set photo from Chucky season 2 gives a new look at Jennifer Tilly's meta bedroom. Tilly is a staple of the Child's Play franchise, first appearing in 1998's Bride of Chucky as two characters: Tiffany Valentine and the actress Jennifer Tilly. The meta-joke of Tilly playing herself continued in the subsequent sequels, and ever since Seed of Chucky, Tiffany has been living her life through the possessed actress.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Cult of Chucky directly set up Don Mancini's TV show, yet season 1 primarily focused on a new group of teenage characters. Tilly did have a substantial role however, helping Chucky raise his army of Good Guy dolls. The first season of the Child's Play TV show was unique in that it not only showed a younger version of Tiffany, portrayed by Blaise Crocker, but it also reintroduced the doll form of the character.
Tilly is very active on social media and has continually shared behind-the-scenes images from Chucky season 2. Most of the photos don't reveal much about season 2's story, but she did confirm a few weeks ago that Lachlan Watson was playing Glen/Glenda, which had previously only been rumored. The actress' latest update isn't as significant; however, it makes it clear that Chucky season 2 is doubling down on the meta jokes surrounding Tilly.
Tilly, along with the other returning Child's Play veteran actors, is a big selling point for the TV show. That being said, it's unknown how Tiffany will return in human form. Tilly was thought to have died in Seed of Chucky when Tiffany possessed her body.
