So how do you think he will take it? Many people think this is a big bet on his part.Not to go to jail. He’s got to win or he’s got to have a Republican who wins, who’s going to pardon him, right?Right, yep. I don’t think he can deal with the idea of going to jail. And I’ve always thought that based off a conversation I had with him 18 years ago. We had just finished convicting and sentencing a guy named John Lynch, who for a period of time in New Jersey was the Senate president.
