Zhang, 44, and Wang, 52, confirmed on Monday that they have divorced after eight years of marriage. They married in May 2015 and have a seven-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son. Ge, now 36, launched a live-stream session on Monday night after Wang’s divorce was made public, with the session watched by more than 100,000 people. She could not stop smiling as Chinese singer Wowkie Zhang’s cheery song“This is a matter between them,” Ge said, referring to Wang and Zhang Ziyi. “It doesn’t really concern me, but it feels like a kind of relief for me.”
Ge said she would give her daughter some time to get over the divorce between Wang and Zhang before considering contacting her daughter.
