It’s generally accepted pretty much everywhere in the world that if there are tables outside, you can only sit there if you’re going to buy something, but this Chinese tourist disregards that ‘rule’ and simply sat in this seat at an eatery in Penang International Airport, prompting the owner to take action.“She refused to order anything and simply sat in seats meant only for customers. We tried approaching her, but she simply ignored us.

“It is a designated sitting spot meant for customers only. We were very nice to her about this… All she had to do was just order something, and she could use our facilities.” At this point, the owner simply came to the tourist’s table and began removing her personal belongings from it. “We were nice in the beginning and allowed her to sit there for a little bit, but this is too much. She sat there for more than 30 minutes but can’t even buy a glass of water.”After removing the table and chairs away, the tourist simply stood there, continuing to mind her business.
