China to cut taxes as GDP growth to slow further

CHINA lowered its economic growth target and unveiled tax cuts today as the country struggles with a crackdown on debt, a slowing global economy and a trade war with the United States. The 6.0 to 6.5% estimate for 2019 was released in a work report for the opening session of the annual National People’s Congress , China’s rubber-stamp Parliament.
