China Airlines will have four flights every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday via an Airbus A321Neo aircraft.
The flight from Taipei, Taiwan arrived in Cebu around 11 a.m. with 120 passengers. The same aircraft also departed the Cebu airport around 11:35 a.m. with over a hundred passengers to Taipei. A departure ceremony was given to passengers with a 25-dollar base fare promo. A water cannon salute also welcomed the Airbus A321Neo when it landed at the MCIA.
At present, the MCIA has 13 foreign and four Philippine-based airlines partners connecting to 27 domestic destinations and 10 international destinations. Neri also announced that some existing airlines are adding more flights from Philippine Airlines who are now flying to Bangkok and Baguio City.“All of these things will help us increase our number of arrivals and departures,” Neri added.
