Chile orders fresh quarantine after virus cases spike

CHILE has ordered strict new quarantine measures in three districts of the capital, Santiago, after a sudden spike in coronavirus cases yesterday. The Health Ministry reported a surge of 1,228 infections, bringing the total to nearly 20,000 nationwide and dealing a blow to hopes that the worst of the crisis is over.
