Child obesity on the rise, parliament told
THE prevalence of obesity among children below the age of 18 has increased over the years, Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni told the Senate today.
“The prevalence of obesity among school children aged 10 to 18 has increased from 12.3% in 2012 to 14.8% in 2017,” he said in the Dewan Negara today. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
