Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has outlined his expectations for new signing Bonfils-Caleb BimenyimanaHaving released strikers Samir Nurkcovic, Leonardo Castro, and Lebohang Manyama at the end of the 22/23 campaign, Amakhosi considered Wayde Lakay, Musa Kamara before deciding to go for Burundian striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, who spent three weeks with the side under assessment.
At 12th place, Amakhosi find themselves flirting with the relegation zone. Ploughed by injuries and suspensions, They’ve scored just four times in six matches and have won only two of those games. Having now had a chance to train formally with the team, Bimenyimana could be in line to open his goal-scoring account when Chiefs take on bottom-of-the-table Marumo Gallants on Sunday.
