A Chicago man returning from the Dominican Republic was arrested Sunday and charged in May 10 Oak Lawn shooting police say stemmed from road rage.

A Chicago man has been charged in connection with a May 10 shooting in Oak Lawn that left a man seriously wounded, police said Monday.

The man was bleeding from two gunshot wounds and taken Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to police. According to Oak Lawn Police chief Dan Vittorio, the suspected shooter got on Interstate 294 and began speeding at over 100 mph, at which point law enforcement couldn’t keep up.
