Cheshire Charity Bazaar returns after a three-year hiatus

Sabah Cheshire Home and Services president Lawrence Hee said the fundraising bazaar will be held at the Home’s compound on May 14, from 8am-3pm.

Some 40 stalls are expected to be set up, offering various activities, products or produces, including vegetables, fruits, handicrafts and haircuts, among others.“The bazaar aims to target RM200,000 in aid of the Cheshire Home,” he told a press conference, here, Wednesday. “This will be used to cover the yearly expenses of the Home including the wellness of the residents, the maintenance of the Home and the day-to-day daily operation cost.

“The first one is the selling of coupons where the public can help sell them among their network of friends, family and colleagues. “Coupon for sale is available from the Home office at Jalan Vokasional, Likas,” he said. Vendors are also welcomed to set up their stalls at the bazaar and donate all proceeds to the Home. “However, if you are unable to open a stall yourself, you can still contribute by sponsoring the opening of a stall for another stall owner.
