As part of the restyling, the Omoda 5 now shares that car’s sleeker arrow-shaped LED daytime running light “eyebrows”, joined together by a black bar with Omoda badging. Below this, the bumper has been significantly re-profiled, forming an X shape together with the revised grille – the latter ditching the current chrome-studded design for body-coloured squares.
Beyond that, the Omoda 5 looks identical to before, retaining its Nissan Ariya-esque design with its sharp lines, undulating window line, sweeping roofline and striking wraparound taillights. There are some colour and trim changes, however, most notably the trailing edge of the D-pillars that is now painted in body colour – an odd choice if we may say so. A new wheel design is also shown here.
