eQ1, eQ7, and Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV highlight Chery Auto PH’s new green direction
After giving the public a glimpse of its upcoming EVs last month, Chery Auto Philippines previewed three new vehicles at the 2023 Philippine EV Summit. Making their presence felt at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City are the eQ1, the eQ7, and the Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV .
The rear, meanwhile, has an angular shape and features cube-shaped taillights and a small tailgate. Despite its small size, the eQ1 is capable of seating four people in total. This also means its main competitor would be the likes of the Jetour Ice Cream EV which ironically is part of the Chery Auto Group.
Next is the eQ7 crossover. Bearing some resemblance to the Jetour Dashing, this sleek and stylish crossover SUV is also a pure electric model that produces no emissions. The front end features a unique face that looks more like a sports car than a crossover SUV. On the other hand, the rear gets distinct LED taillights that appear to highlight the width of the vehicle.
Last but not least is the Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV. It slightly differs in terms of looks compared to the Tiggo 7 Pro as it gets LED headlights derived from the Tiggo 8 Pro, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and slightly restyled LED taillights.
