PETALING JAYA: Political activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin , better known as Chegubard who was arrested late on Saturday for investigations over his comments on a proposal of casino supposedly to be built in Forest City was remanded for two days starting on Sunday .
He said Badrul's lawyers objected to the application by the police and following mitigations, the court allowed a two-day remand order. He said the activist was being investigated under Section 4 of the Sedition Act 1948 and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. "He is well and in good health. His message to Malaysians is to be brave and stand up for the truth, no matter how many times they are detained," he told reporters when met outside the Dang Wangi police headquarters.
