Noted Cleveland chef Doug Katz has been hired as a consultant to help to improve food at Cleveland Clinic. He will work with Morrison Healthcare, a food and nutrition services company contracted by the Clinic.

When exercise and diet became focuses in my life, I was able to lose pounds. As a chef, I feel like it’s important for me to live in a healthy way and to use what I’ve learned to help others eat healthier.
“We’re just starting out,” he says. “This is a long-term relationship. I think it’s about vision. I would hope that we affect the patients and make their experiences better.”
