That’s why Intermountain Health is sponsoring a Mental Health Services Awareness Night to help connect people with vital available resources.

The free event will take place on Thursday, October 26 from 6 to 9 pm at the Ragan Theater at Utah Valley University. It is open to anyone in Utah who would like to know more about the resources available to those struggling with mental health challenges. Opportunities include speakers, breakout classes, information booths, and more on how to access mental health services.https://intermountainhealthcare.org/classes-and-events/list/mental-health-services-awareness-night.

A keynote speaker is Donia Jessop, mayor of Hildale City, Utah, who will discuss personal challenges she faced and how vital resources were to support her in her transition from an oppressive community to become the first non-FLDS endorsed as well as female mayor. Ashley Schlaich, RN, pediatric behavioral health outpatient services director for the soon to open Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital campus in Lehi, will be another keynote speaker.
