ChatGPT’s GPT-4o mini upgrade is a game-changer: Everything you need to know

OpenAI released a new, lightweight GPT-4o mini model for ChatGPT, which is immediately available to Free users.

Finally, GPT-4o mini comes with a knowledge cutoff of October 2023, which is far better than the September 2021 cutoff of GPT-3.5 Turbo. ChatGPT Free users should also know they have unlimited access to GPT-4o mini compared to GPT-4o. However, ChatGPT Free might not be as fast as the premium tiers.
