SELAIN banjir, Chaah di Segamat juga mengalami isu tiada bekalan air bersih susulan paip utama yang hanyut dan pecah akibat arus deras. Menteri Besar Johor Onn Hafiz Ghazi berkata punca ketiadaan air disebabkan paip utama di Jambatan Sungai Chaah yang hanyut dan pecah akibat arus deras.
