Music legend DJ Casper, the creator of the iconic hit Cha Cha Slide has passed away aged 58 following a lengthy battle with kidney and liver cancer, his wife has announced
The pop music legend, who was best known for his iconic party hit the Cha Cha Slide, was diagnosed with kidney and liver cancer back in 2016, however no cause of death has yet been announced.
He also shared a message to those also battling cancer: "Anybody that's going through cancer, know that you have cancer and cancer does not have you. So, keep on doing the Cha Cha Slide." "This actually made me really sad, what an incredible influence one person’s art can have on an entire generation. rip dj casper and thank you for helping us all get funky at discos/parties/weddings etc [heart emoji" added another.
