Pennsylvania State Police arrested the York County man about two hours after the Saturday night killings.
A York County man killed two men and a dog over the weekend at a home in Pylesville, Maryland, authorities said.
Timothy Wayne Witherite, 62, and David Joseph Octavec, 70, both of Pylesville, were found dead around 8:49 p.m. at a home on the 1700 block of Scott Road, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said Steven Nolan, 53, of Airville, killed Witherite inside the home and Octavec outside before he fled. The family dog was also found dead at the scene.Pennsylvania State Police took Nolan into custody about two hours after the double homicide scene was discovered. He is being held in Pennsylvania and awaiting extradition to Maryland.
