The process was painful, but the result is official: The Boston Celtics will meet the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, starting Thursday in San Francisco. The Celtics are here by virtue of winning a drunken three-wheeled shopping cart of an Eastern Conference Finals against the depleted Miami Heat—a short-staffed, defense-first series so bruising and aesthetically challenged it should be sued for defamation by the Naismith estate.
