Celtics Not Close To Kevin Durant Trade - RealGM Wiretap
The Boston Celtics have been rumored to be interested in making a trade with the Brooklyn Nets for Kevin Durant. In some circles, Boston has even been considered the favorite to land Durant.
However, recent reporting is that Boston isn't close to dealing for the Nets superstar. In fact, the Celtics and Nets haven't even had any trade discussions of substance. Brooklyn is continuing to drive a high asking price for Durant, while hoping they can convince him to play for the Nets next season. From his side, Durant hasn't moved off his trade request. He's also told Brooklyn he won't return unless they make changes in the front office and on the coaching staff.
