'They need to cut out that naivety that they do have sometimes and understand how to hold onto leads because they're not a million miles away from where they want to get to.'

Richard Dunne believes Celtic need to cut out their naivety and learn how to hold onto leads if they are to have any hope of succeeding in Europe.

The Hoops led twice on the night against Atletico Madrid but were pegged back on two separate occasions by goals from Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata as Los Colchoneros escaped Celtic Park with a 2-2 draw. Last night's game was the second Champions League clash in a row that Celtic have led without taking home all three points after Pedro's last-gasp winner for Lazio a couple of week's ago.Despite leading in both games, Celtic only took home one point and their chances of reaching the knockout stages are slim. They still have a chance of making the Europa League knockout rounds but will need to finish third in the group.

"The point gives them that little glimmer of hope. Their away form in Europe isn't great and doesn't give you a lot of confidence. "They've got a home game to come and on the performance tonight... they did well, but they need to cut out that naivety that they do have sometimes and understand how to hold onto leads because they're not a million miles away from where they want to get to."
