Celeste Cortesi says she aims to compete in Miss Universe as her authentic self

Just a few days before the Miss Universe 2022 coronation night, Celeste Cortesi said she aims to be her authentic self while competing for the crown.

On Miss Universe’s Instagram story Wednesday, the Philippine bet answered the question: “What does it mean for you to be here today?”

Wearing a power suit with a brooch shaped like the country, she answered: “I really wanted to step in this competition wanting to be authentic, wanting to be myself and really share my story to others.” Celeste added that she’s been having so much fun so far, and that it will always be an honor to represent the Philippines in the 71st edition of the prestigious pageant.
