New in 2024: Midnight’s Curse, an adults-only show that promises to “take guests into their darkest nightmares.”
The festival kicks off Sept. 12 and will run Thursdays through Sundays through Saturday, Nov. 2.This is the 27th year for HalloWeekends, which features spooky haunted attractions in the evening and family-friendly fun during the day. The show, hosted by Mr. Midnight, features four acts, including acrobatic performances, fire manipulation and high-flying aerialists. Performances take place on Friday and Saturday nights and “are not recommended for children,” according to the park.
During the day, kid-friendly activities include corn and hay mazes, pumpkin decorating, monster makeovers and trick or treating.The entertainment lineup this year includes the return of New this year is the “Skeleton Crew,” a set of high-flying skeletons that dance and flip and bounce into the air, accompanied by Skeleton Stilt Walkers.
Fall-focused food items this year include Glazed Gargoyle Chicken Wings tossed with a candy gloss shell, Apple Cider Donut Bundt Cake, Butternut Squash and Prosciutto Pizza and Deep-Fried Cheesecake.
