CCM lauds rulers’ call for politicians to stop creating racial, religious strife

The Council of Churches Malaysia welcomed the decree of the Majlis Raja-Raja that leaders of political parties are to cease and desist raising racial and religious issues to instigate or incite the public.

In a message in conjunction with the 260th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers, Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, expressed hope that leaders would no longer raise racial and religious issues with the aim of inciting the public.
