Cavs Interested In Re-Signing Caris LeVert - RealGM Wiretap

When the Cleveland Cavaliers traded for Caris LeVert ahead of the 2022 NBA trade deadline, it wasn't just to aid in a playoff push for that season. The Cavs traded for LeVert with intentions of keeping him Cleveland long-term.

Despite opportunities to trade LeVert ahead of this season's trade deadline, Cleveland held onto the wing scorer. Now, with LeVert set to become an unrestricted free agent, the Cavaliers would like to re-sign him to a multi-year deal. Playing in a more high-powered lineup, LeVert has seen his shots drop, but his efficiency rise. LeVert is averaging 11.9 points, his lowest since his rookie season, but LeVert is shooting a career-best 37.6% on three-pointers. He's also adding a solid 3.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 30 minutes per game, mostly off the Cavs bench.
