“Growing up as a young basketball player I looked forward to playing basketball in the summer and getting the opportunity to learn from different coaches and players,” Garland said. “I decided to host these camps to give young ballers an opportunity to advance their basketball skills, build new relationships and create lifelong memories.”
The two other youth basketball camps will also take place during the month of June -- and will be out of market. The second camp is set for Friday, June 10, in Merrillville, Indiana, and the camp tour will wrap up on Thursday, June 16, in Nashville, Tennessee. Garland -- a Gary, Ind. native who played his college ball at Vanderbilt University in Nashville -- is entering his fourth season with the Cavaliers.Get the latest Cavs merchandise:Cleveland Cavaliers gear online, including jerseys, shirts, hats, 2016 NBA Champions productsIf you or a loved one has questions or needs to talk to a professional about gambling, call 1-800-GAMBLER or visit
