“It should be completely unremarkable, the idea of re-wearing , because we do it in our daily lives,” the actress toldShe said that not only does she re-wear garments to promote sustainability, but also to defy the unspoken rules of red-carpet fashion—one of them being to never step out in a look you’ve been photographed in before.
“I think that there’s a lot of people like me who are tired of the churn,” Blanchett said. “But who also want to keep the industry healthy in all its dimensions. There’s a chance here to redefine the notion of luxury.
