Astro is once again challenging the norms of the entertainment industry by presenting ‘Framed‘, a premium drama series from Astro Originals, produced by Astro Shaw in collaboration with Independent Pictures Sdn Bhd. This latest drama series showcases a mystery conspiracy involving fate and several uncontrollable events. ‘Framed’ premieres on 3 May 2024, 9pm on Astro Premier , with fast episodes available every week starting at midnight On Demand, Astro GO and sooka.
Vice President, Head of Astro Shaw & Nusantara Malay Business, Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, who also serves as the Executive Producer of ‘Framed’, said, “We understand that our audience wants stories that are fresh and of high quality. For the first time, we took the initiative to present a story inspired by real events that highlight social issues close to the community by focusing on environmental conspiracies.
‘Framed’, a drama series with an intriguing narrative, follows Lia’s journey. She is a journalist who discovers an old polaroid where the camera is capable of printing moments of future tragedies. Guided by the printed images, Lia unintentionally begins an investigation to uncover the story of her mother’s disappearance. During this investigation, Lia meets Edi, an environmental activist.
