The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) disbursed cash assistance and family food packs to families in northern Luzon who were distraught by typhoon EgayPH.
On Saturday, July 29, an estimated 1,000 families from Ilocos Norte received monetary assistance from DSWD Field Office 1 through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, more than 582,288 people have so far been affected by the typhoon.
