KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Corporation Bhd’s (YTL Corp) subsidiary, YTL Cement Bhd, has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with 98 Holdings Pte Ltd for the proposed acquisition of shares in NSL Ltd for S$227.61 million (about RM792.32 million) in cash.

KUALA LUMPUR: Monitoring up to July 23 showed an increase in heat-related illnesses, with cases rising to 112 from 109 on July 16.

The total number of heat stroke-related deaths remains at five, with no new fatalities reported this week. Regarding the weather forecast up to July 29, the agency said that two tropical cyclones, classified as typhoons and tropical storms, are active in the northeast of the Philippines and the South China Sea.
