A Sessions Court in Kuala Terengganu has adjourned a case against a woman accused of attempted murder until February 23 next year.

A Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court has set February 23 next year for the mention of a case involving a woman driver charged with attempted murder to cause injury to a Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Dungun student last October. Judge Mohd.

Zul Zakiqudin Zulkifli allowed the application of Deputy Public Prosecutor Nur Nabihah Hanin Ayim who informed the court that the full psychiatric report of the accused, Norizan Ismail, 49, has not been received as she is still undergoing mental examination at Hospital Permai, Johor Bahru. On October 15, the mother of three children facing charges under Section 307 (1) of the Penal Code for attempted murder was ordered by the court to undergo a mental examination. According to the charge, the accused is alleged to have committed the act of attempted murder causing injury to Muhammad Ammar Danish Mohammad Ridhuan, 20, on Jalan Pantai opposite UiTM Dungun, Dungun at 7.35 pm on October 9. For this offense, the accused faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison and can be fined, and if the act causes injury, can be imprisoned for up to 20 years, if found guilty. In addition, the accused also faces three charges under Section 302 of the Penal Code at the Dungun Magistrate's Court
