SJP's recent comments about the iconic former couple reuniting have fans flipping out.
On March 22, HBO Max announced the sequel series will, in fact, return for a sophomore season. Series executive producer Michael Patrick King celebrated in a statement, saying, “I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold, characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we’re all thrilled.Also weighing in on the news was Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content at HBO Max.
She added, “He’s a kind of preternaturally happy person and he’s so excited to be back, and it’s an amazing storyline that Michael [Patrick King] and the writers have sorted out, and I think will be really meaningful to the audience who feel a lot of affection for him.” Kristin Davis hinted she’d love to return, too. “The Rose [who now goes by Rock] journey is going to be a long one. It’s probably not something that’s going to have a distinct end with. “Hopefully, we’ll get to come back, and you’ll see what ends up happening with Rose.”
Kim Cattrall returning as Samantha Jones will likely never happen.
