Sands attributes Trump’s April endorsement of Oz to a combination of a longstanding personal friendship and some bad advice.“The conservatives went crazy when they saw that because they know he’s not from Pennsylvania, doesn’t share our values and he’s not conservative. I like to say he’s a MINO - MAGA-in-name-only... That’s why Oz only got like a two or three percentage point bump and then he’s stuck. Because even with the president’s endorsement, the voters don’t trust him.
“So I called him China-first, because he can’t hold China accountable - they have military aspirations, and they have world domination aspirations. He cannot hold them accountable,” Sands said.
