A Johor Immigration Department enforcement officer with a caretaker of a worship centre who was arrested this morning for working illegally in Taman Setia Indah, Johor Baru. — Picture by the Johor Immigration Department JOHOR BARU, June 3 — A total of 26 foreigners, including a caretaker of a worship centre, were arrested by the Johor Immigration Department here at midnight today.
Those detained include 16 men and one woman from Myanmar, seven men from Indonesia, one man from India and one woman from Thailand,Mohd Faizal said the case was investigated under Section 6 of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for not having a valid passport or permit to be in Malaysia and Section 15 of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for overstaying.
