A Middle Eastern restaurant in Capitol Hill said it's donating 100% of its proceeds from the sale of one of its desserts to help children in Palestine.

A Middle Eastern restaurant in Capitol Hill said it's donating 100% of its proceeds from the sale of one of its Arab desserts to thewill help provide medical care to children in the Middle East, especially to children in Gaza who don't have a lot of resources. The nonprofit, which was founded in 1991 by concerned humanitarians in the U.S.
"In addition to the amazing Allies and Palestinians that showed up, I want to say a special thank you to the Jewish and Israelis who showed up. I know many of you care a lot, going to Israel I spoke with many young people who aren’t happy with their governments choices either. I hope people remember that there are people who care in the world, it seems bleak right now but we have to keep trying," thein part.
Yalla Seattle thanked customers who “showed up and cleaned us out” on Thursday, adding that the restaurant “had to close early because we had nothing left. We are truly touched by all your support, messages, interactions and more.” You can also support innocent Palestinians. It doesn’t mean you support Hamas. I don’t support Hamas, but Hamas is there because of the occupation. It would not exist without the occupation, and that’s what I really want people to understand.
