After buying a billboard outside Netflix's HQ, fans of the cancelled show WarriorNun have decided to buy a new billboard in New York City.
Fans of Netflix's cancelled fantasy action series Warrior Nun have purchased a billboard in New York City in an attempt to revive the show for season 3. After the series was axed by Netflix in December 2022, vocal supporters of Warrior Nun have taken to both the Internet and real life to get the series renewed. One of the largest real-world attempts at convincing Netflix to give the series a second chance was the placement of a billboard outside Netflix's headquarters in Los Angeles.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In a Twitter post from Sarah, who announced the previous billboard, Warrior Nun fans were revealed to have set up a new billboard to save the series, this time in New York City. The digital billboard will play an animation of protagonist Ava's halo glowing, alongside a message reading "#SaveWarriorNun." The billboard will appear in Midtown Manhattan Friday through Sunday from 4-9 p.m. throughout February, as well as on March 3.
Warrior Nun is best known for its strong female leads, including the protagonist, Ava, who is revived and given supernatural abilities by a holy artifact called the halo. Alongside Ava is Shotgun Mary, a member of the Order of the Cruciform Sword, the group of nuns in the series who are responsible for keeping holy artifacts safe and killing demons that threaten Earth.
Will Warrior Nun Return For Season 3? While it's a riveting thought that Netflix could renew Warrior Nun for a season 3 because of the campaign, the likelihood of the show continuing at the streaming service seems small. However, given recent pushes for Warrior Nun to be revived elsewhere, it wouldn't be surprising for a streaming service like Apple TV+ to see the passion of the campaign and fund a season 3.
