Good Girls season 4 is doing great on Netflix, so could season 5 actually be in the cards?
, though some of it remains a mystery. The most often publicly cited story is a very high profile feud between leads Christina Hendricks and Manny Montana, where the two were said to not get along on set, and despite Hendricks, Retta and Mae Whitman all agreeing to take pay cuts for a season 5, Montana’s contract was the issue.
But that didn’t happen with Good Girls, which was publicly mourned by the other members of its cast when the cancellation was announced. Reportedly Netflix already explored the possibility of picking up the series, but those talks with NBC did not result in a deal. “Financials” are also cited as to why the series was cancelled.
