It’s hard to imagine some of these fresh-faced youngsters once turned to their parents and said: “Mummy, daddy when I grow up I want to learn how to never give a straight answer and yell at other people onIt’s easy to forget that politicians are human. We are so quick to forget they had a childhood and training wheels and refused to eat their greens. Looking at any one of these little human faces, it’s hard to imagine who they would become and the power they would hold.

There is something really humanising in looking at the younger versions of these people we love to berate, although, clearly the only young photo we could find of Clive Palmer is one where he looks like a middle-aged televangelist as he has clearly never experienced childhood. Also guys — I don’t want to alarm anyone but Adam Bandt appears to be ageing backwards. A gift from Mother Earth politicians get when they start believing in climate science?
