“Writing any new musical is tricky.” The husband-and-wife songwriting team behind 'Frozen' has tried to re-create the musical magic in the coming sequel.

But when the new sequel, which has already set a record for advance ticket sales, opens on Nov. 22, fans will be looking for more than just a fresh story that stays true to the movie’s beloved characters. They’ll also be waiting for the song; the one that captures the magic, emotional electricity and world-conquering power of “Let It Go.

Among the new songs are a couple of comic-relief numbers: Anna’s shaggy-haired mountain-man boyfriend Kristoff gets an aching ‘80s power ballad in the style of REO Speedwagon , while the perennially oblivious snowman Olaf delivers a soft-shoe ditty full of ironic lyrics bound to tickle parents .
